Dave Scadden’s Challenger  takes frameless simplicity, portability and performance to the next level.  Just imagine a huge capacity, lightweight one or two person boat that stows in an oversized duffel and weighs under 50 pounds.  Now take the same boat, throw Dave’s  Lazer X frame on it and set up for front  entry performance.  Now pop a couple of cam straps, switch stance the frame, clamp on a Yamaha outboard, twist the throttle and hang on.  I think you get the picture.  The Challenger offers unbelievable versatility and high performance.  The Outlaw Challenger  is the product of 21 years of evolution.  Dave had a dream 21 years ago of a personal fishing craft that was lightweight, portable and simple to use.  As the years have passed, pontoon boats have become very sophisticated pieces of fishing equipment.  In the process they have become more and more complex.  To many anglers simply assembling the components that form a high tech pontoon boat can be a daunting experience.  Enter the Outlaw Challenger.  The Challenger, like its little brothers the Renegade and the Escape, requires no assembly.  Simply inflate it and throw it in the water.  In less than five minutes you are fishing.  If you want to take a buddy along, throw him  on the back and away you go.  The Challenger comes equipped with our rack and pinion integrated oar system front entry quick release footrest bar, I.Q. pocket system, F16 seat and Power Surge oars.  It all fits into a very compact travel bag that travels easily wherever your imagination and passion takes you.  Make no  mistake, the Challenger does not sacrifice anything.  It has a class V whitewater rating, 1,800 pound capacity, is stable enough  to stand up and sight fish.  You can pole the bonefish flats one weekend, run the Middle Fork of the Salmon the next, then stealthily fin the weed beds of Henry’s Lake to top it off.  Now stow it in the tail of a Dehaviland Beaver, fly it into the headwaters of countless Alaskan rivers.  Harvest a 60 inch bull moose, quarter it out and float your way  out catching silvers and 30 inch rainbow as you go.  This boat can do it all and do it with ease.  It takes the headache out of drift fishing and does it quite possibly better than any boat ever made. Welcome to the no limits world of Dave Scadden’s Challenger.
